1. What we use
Cookies are small values saved by your browser; local storage can save larger preferences on your device. We use these technologies for your consent choice and the listening features you request. The public site does not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
2. Current first-party storage
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| rqs_consent_v1 | Cookie remembering whether YouTube external media is allowed. Shared by rqsrecords.com and its documents subdomain. | 180 days after saving |
| rqs-library-v1 | Local storage for playlists, last track, listening position and volume. | Until cleared |
| rqs-motion | Local storage for your animation preference. | Until cleared |
3. Essential and requested functions
Your privacy selection must be remembered to respect it. Playlists and listening preferences support features you choose to use; they are stored locally rather than in a cloud account. You can delete them using your browser’s site-data controls. “Necessary only” keeps optional YouTube media blocked and leaves the local audio player available.
4. Optional external media
When you allow external media and press Play, the YouTube player is embedded from youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube/Google then receives information about the request and may use its own storage. Its behaviour and cookie lifetimes are controlled by Google and your browser. Read Google’s cookie information. No YouTube player is loaded merely by opening the home page.
5. Change your choice
Use the button below or Cookie settings in the footer. You can accept optional media, keep necessary functions only, or customize the external-media switch. Turning permission off removes any loaded YouTube player from the current page. It does not erase cookies previously set by a third-party domain; manage those through your browser.
6. Expiry and browser controls
Consent is remembered for 180 days after you save it. If the cookie is cleared or expires, we ask again. Blocking all storage may prevent preferences or playlists from being remembered. You can also use your browser’s cookie controls or private-browsing mode.
